DJ D
DJ DBorn and raised on the same block as the legendary Empire Roller Dome in Crown Heights Brooklyn, Denzel aka DJ-D is New York’s chosen son to represent the city’s modern roller skating sound and movement.
Mentored by the city’s legends of the scene, D has held residencies at Hot Skates, Flippers Roller Boogie Palace, and most recently the newly built Xanadu Roller Arts in Brooklyn, alongside being one of the most seasoned touring DJs on the international skate circuit, playing at Moodymann’s Soulskate in Detroit, Sk8athon in Atlanta, The NC’s Roll On in London, and now Skate Love Barcelona to name a few.
With a versatile DJ style that is not only perfect for the rink, D’s musical selections are diverse, ranging from underground club sounds, Hip Hop, House, R&B, New School Afro and beyond. He is a respected producer who’s edits and remixes can be found at: djdmixes.bandcamp.com.
